What a Trip! A Tropical Getaway with a Bali Villa Rental
The earth outside your kitchen window is white with blankets of heavy, frigid snow. Every breath you take becomes a fine mist in the cold morning air. Every night is a struggle to warm your home enough to keep from having to bed down in an igloo. The roads are sleek and dangerous, the pipes freeze in your basement, you have to buy snow tires, and you have to buy snow boots, awkward puffy coats, and oversized knit hats…Why does it have to be that way? Why does your winter outlook seem bleak, cold, miserable, and frustrating? This is a very good question, especially since there are much better options than grumbling in the cold. Why not laze about in the sun, sea breeze, and slow leisurely days?
Bali is a small island set in a tropical haven. The warm sun, sweet breezes, flagrant tropical scents, the exotic animals, plants, and people…all far far away from the snow, cold, and annoying layers of wool winter clothes.
Taking a winter retreat vacation to the island of Bali requires that you find accommodations that embody the beauty, tropical glory, and incredible culture the island. Don’t even think about checking into a hotel—not when you can spend your money on a Bali villa rental. Big hotel chains can offer luxury digs, but they cannot offer the real island experience that so many come to enjoy. Bali villa rentals allow you to absorb the aura of the island without having to look out from a wall of steel and glass. Bali villas bring you as close to the true Bali as you can get without planting your face in the dirt and inhaling the minerals.
Many Bali villa rentals include all the accommodations of the big chain hotels; room service, access to cool, inviting pools, air conditioning, cable TV, maid service, 24 hour security, in-suite bathrooms, and all the beauty and tropical views you can handle. You can choose from 1-4 bedroom villas close to the beach or inland surrounded by tropical trees and deliciously scented flora. If you don’t have thousands of dollars to spend, you’ll find that renting a villa in Bali is far more affordable than you thought. For only 0 a night, you can live, love, and relax in Bali.
So where can you find Bali villa rentals? Well, you can check out the villas in Seminyak, Jimbaran Bay, Canggu Bay, or any number of gorgeous tropical locations in Bali.
If you’re tired of the cold winter air, you can pack up the family or take a group of friends to Bali and rent a large villa right in the sand, steps away from the warm waters, incredible marine life, and hundreds of miles of green-blue horizon. Renting a villa in Bali isn’t as difficult and you’d think.
Keep winter in the cold, and soak up the sun in Bali—rent a villa and let the island ease the freeze from your bones.

Many travellers and tourists from the west have a dreamy ideal of somewhere like Bali, since even the place’s name conjures up images of mystery and a world far away from the daily grind of a job in a western country. Naturally the weather plays a part and the humid climate is one of the reasons for people heading to the lush greenery and tiered paddy fields of Bali. While there some of the best things to do are:
1.See the temples. Nothing says south east Asia more than the temples which are scattered about the land, and in contrast to the Buddhist structures of Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, Indonesia’s Hindu temples are a sight to see in their own right. There are literally thousands of temples to see in Bali and while many temples might look a little run down, they still operate as central points within every Balinese community.
2.The beaches. If it’s paradise that you want then Bali has it. The unspoiled nature of Bali’s beaches is one of the biggest pulls to the island, and the palm-fringed sands are both inspiring and relaxing at the same time. Lots of visitors to a luxury Bali hotel like to combine a beach holiday with a spot of diving, and the destinations of Menjangan Island in the north and Nusa Penida in the south are perennially popular spots for beach and scuba holidays with western tourists who want a holiday with a difference.
3.See ‘real’ Bali. This means exploring the sights and sounds of the island in a slightly different way, by getting out of your luxury Bali resort hotel to tour the island either on foot or by bicycle. Many tourists and visitors to Bali have enjoyed this activity and there is nothing quite like cycling through a tiny village stopping to talk to the local inhabitants or walking through miles of paddy field s on foot. There are tour companies to help arrange tours such as this as it is always best to have an informed local guide to point you at the best walks and rides.
4.Spoil yourself. There are so many different massages, spas, treatments and the like to be had in Bali that you could be forgiven for thinking that you have actually gone on holiday to a health farm. When you only have a few weeks off work each year to relax and recuperate from the daily grind it is worth indulging oneself in the numerous oils and treatments on offer in the luxurious health spas of Bali, something which most people find that they can suddenly afford to do every day. Not a luxury which is available to most back home!
5.Take a cruise. What is the point of going to a paradise island if not to make use of the emerald waters surrounding the place? The seas around Bali boast some of the most spectacular coral reefs in the world and there are no end of high quality cruises available to take the visitor out into the big blue – check out stunning Lembongan Island for somewhere a world away from everything that you know.

Fine Dining in Bali
Article by Anwar H
Ever since Bali’s dizzying increase in popularity as one of the top tourist destination in South East Asia, dining options in this island province have evolved from a few small warungs serving locals on the street to some of the best fine dining restaurants anywhere in Asia. The unprecedented expansion and development of 5-star hotels and resorts all over Bali have been a clarion call to experienced and aspiring chefs from all over the world. They come to Bali, drawn by the promise of an ever growing tourist industry and the desire to create truly special dining experiences.
In a relatively short period of time Bali has witnessed the start of a vast number of world class fine dining restaurants, cafes and bars. While most tend to cluster around major tourist towns like Ubud, Kuta and Nusa Dua in the south, less crowded areas like Lovina in the north are also seeing an increase in upscale resorts with fine dining establishments. Some of the newest and most exciting fine dining restaurants includes Minami in Ubud, which provides authentic Osakan cuisine straight from Japan to the heart of Bali’s verdant Ubud valley. Another great example of fine dining is CIRE at Alila Villas in Uluwatu. CIRE offers diners the very best in contemporary western cuisine and seafood using the freshest possible local organic produce.
Long overlooked by the fine dining scene, north Bali’s Lovina Beach is home to Kwizien, which opened its doors in 2007. A smart-casual bar/bistro/brassiere, Kwizien boasts a varied menu of European-style soups and entrees combined with an excellent selection of main courses ranging from fresh locally caught seafood to juicy chicken, sizzling steak, and barbecued pork dishes.
More laid back and affordable than Bali’s southern districts, Lovina Beach in the island’s north is an area with tremendous growth potential. With the planned construction of a new International Airport in North Bali, the entire region is projected to see tremendous growth in the near future. The villas and apartments at the 5-star Lovina Beach Resort is a great Bali property investment opportunity right now. Don’t miss out, email Louise or 65 9742 1164 and take that first step to owning your own prime beachfront property in north Bali.
